Pan-Fried Catfish

Ingredients

  • Catfish filets

  • 1 cup cornmeal

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

  • 1 1/2 garlic salt

  • vegetable oil for frying

Directions

  • Combine the cornmeal, Cajun seasoning and garlic salt in a shallow dish.
  • Heat the oil until shimmering.
  • Dredge the filets in the cornmeal mixture and add to the pan, cooking 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Serve with lemon slices or remoulade.
